A few weeks ago we made Greek Style Kabobs they were amazing!!! I decided afterwards that they needed a wonderful Taziki sauce to go with them. Well here it is! Yum!!
I LOVE the cool cucumber sauce on just about anything! It will be great this summer to top chicken and salads as well as to use a a MUCH lower calorie alternative to chip dip. This sauce literally took 5 min to make, so easy and yummy.
Homemade Taziki Sauce
~ 1 Cup Greek Yogurt
~ 6 Crushed Cloves of Garlic
~ 1 Tbs Fresh Chopped Dill
~ 1 Medium Cucumber (Grated)
~ Juice of ½ Lemon
Directions: In a medium bowl mix: yogurt, garlic, and dill.
Squeeze excess moisture from cucumber and mix in yogurt mixture.
Squeeze in lemon juice, be sure to catch seeds.
Allow to sit 10 min prior to serving. Serve with grilled pita bread or over Grilled Greek Style Kabobs
