I can not make this recipe with out thinking of my grandma. She was so proud of this! I swear she made it for EVERY bar-b-q, potluck, or family get together she was invited to! She always referred to it as “Blueberry Stuff”… none of us ever argued or tried to call it anything different!
To this day this is still a favorite dessert in our house. It is ooey and gooey, and just sweet enough. The wonderful fruit flavor shines through and is not over powered at all by the fluffy topping. Use homemade blueberry pie filling for even more home made flavor.
~ 2 Cups Crushed Graham Crackers
~ ½ Cup Melted Butter
~ ½ Cup Sugar
~ 8 oz Marshmallows
~ ½ Cup Milk
~ 2 Packages Dream Whip (milk and vanilla as directed for mixing) or Whipped Topping (2 Cups)
~ 16 oz Blueberry Pie Filling
Directions: Combine graham cracker crumbs (reserve ¼ cup), melted butter and sugar in the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
Press firmly in to bottom of pan.
Bake for 10-15 min at 350 degrees. Allow to cool.
Place milk in medium sauce pan and melt marshmallows in to milk. Allow to cool.
Mix Dream Whip per package instructions.
Fold marshmallow mixture in to prepared Dream Whip.
Spread ½ of marshmallow mixture on top of cooled crust.
Spread Blueberry Pie Filling over marshmallow mixture.
Cover with remaining marshmallow mixture and sprinkle reserved graham cracker crumbs over top.
Allow to chill until firm.
